Training programme:

Day 1
17.00 – 18.00 - Session 1 – Introduction - trainer introduction, participant presentations, explaining training objectives and expectations, course subject matter, expected company changes, programme and negotiations, course rules and group division

6.00 – 6.15 – Break

6.15 – 7.30 - Session 2 – Identity - self-presentation, mission presentation, preparation and provision of equipment, creating team identity, sailing the boat, arrival at the island, discovering the cave with hidden stone tablets, discussion, finding the stone tablets, which describe the mission further, dealing with group problems

Day 2

9.30 – 11.00 - Session 1 – Exercising team roles in small groups
- ‘Crossing the lake’ exercise to boost team interaction
- Analysis of the process and roles in the team on the basis of what has been experienced
- Theory presentation, successful action strategies group discussion
- Simulation game to applying learned material

11.00 – 11.30 – Break

11.30 – 1.00 - Session 2 - Team communication in small groups and plenary sessions – role play to practice problem solving skills in communication, process analysis of inefficient communication patterns, principles of effective team communication, S.W.A.T. analysis, role play to acquire better team building skills

1.00 – 2.00 – Lunch

2.00 – 3.30 - Session 3 – Role play focused on planning through team interaction, building a successful communication system, training analysis, group discussion, applying the training conclusions and results

3.40 – 4.15 - Closing
